History

Western Heritage Services Inc. was founded in 1990 to serve the growing need for specialized heritage services. The origins of Western Heritage can be traced back to our history with the Saskatchewan Research Council - a collaborative environment surrounded by a wide range of scientific disciplines. In 1999, we established Alberta Western Heritage to better serve clients in that province - particularly those companies developing resources in forestry, oil and gas. We have a successful track record of helping companies maintain compliance with the Alberta Historical Resources Act in an affordable and efficient manner. Our clients benefit from services including Heritage Potential Modeling, our CRICS process, and field reconnaissance. In 2010, we acquired Quaternary Consultants in Winnipeg and Digital Environmental Management in Saskatoon. At that time, we consolidated the entire range of services under one name - Western Heritage.
