Last week we held a short geophysics workshop in Winnipeg to showcase the technology and to train our staff. Underneath this parking lots are the remains of Upper Fort Garry. Also attending were staff from the Manitoba Historic Resources Branch.
We purchased this second hand soil susceptibility meter to map the soil susceptibility at Fort Denison this summer. We think (actually hope) that using a downhole probe will work better than collecting multiple samples.
